1 Peanut Butter Fruit (Bunchosia argentea) Live Plant

Absolutely one of my favorite trees and fruit! Very fast growing and quick to fruit within 2-3 years from seed. Once established, the tree is quite cold tolerant and can survive occasional frost here in South FL. It also seems to constantly bloom and set fruit as long as it is well fed and watered. The fruit is borne in clusters and remains green until a couple days before becoming fully ripe, dark red, and nearly translucent. At that point, they have the taste and texture of peanut butter and jelly mixed. Smooth, creamy and sweet, with a super thin skin that can be eaten as well. This tree is an absolute must have for serious fruit lovers!
